I assume you are using ioBanana v20.
When this option is set to 0 pres are announced in the section channel. ie. if you have a dedicated channel for mp3 announces, mp3 pres will be announced there.

Code:

set ioBvar(announce_AREANAME) "#channel-xyz"

Pres in sections that don't have a dedicated channel will be announced in the default channel.

PS: If you really are using a foundation script, you should upgrade your board profile so administrators and moderators can see that you are a registered user.
