What do you want to use MySQL for ?

If you're talking about pretimes, you'd need a mysql server in which you already have the releases names and pre times. ioB can insert releases in it by itself, each time someone does a MKD or a SITE PRE, but then, a database of only the releases that are on your site isn't that useful...
