If you want to use telnet and your using windows
go to start=> run => type telnet
then open <bnc> <port>
port is in your case 3333
than he will ask your nick and pass
than you will be connected
If you want to use the chat option
go to irc where your bot is located
and do a chatrequest than he will ask for your password.
and your connected.
Try to read the documentation too it helps u a lot.
