This happend for me too! After refresh ( well "site config rehash" from ioGui ) it worked again.
And after a few hours of traffic it happens AGAIN untill i "rehash" again .. AND then ioFTPD DIED ...
It MUST be a bug! .. ioftpd worked good before this 5.4.3r version. NEVER crashed before UNTIL now.
