i think it was when i was using some of FTPSERVERTOOLS's Serv-U tools, when i saw a link to ioFTPD...
or when i was looking for some raidenftpd tools...
there was definately a message saying 'forget about raidenftpd, the new ioftpd is the way to go!'

been following the project ever since, only been writing tools for it in the last 2 months tho.
