Python can run as a seperate exe so there is no reason why you couldnt use python. The python dll is 840K or so and it needs various extra stuff. Thus it isnt as handy as tcl. I doubt that it will ever come as plugin. Also you have 2 versions of python, namely
http://www.python.org/download/ and the one from activestate.
But nothing can keep you from running python as an exe.
