Angry New Key for 3.x - problems

I've tried using the form for getting a new key.

Because I no longer have acces to the e-mail address I used when purchasing, I attempted to use Option 3 but I received the message

"Your information could not be verified.
Please read Option 4 for further instructions.

Thanks for using the key upgrade system."

I had entered my 7 digit reference number from the purchase e-mail I received from share-it, along with my old e-mail address (mward82@blueyonder.co.uk).

Option 4 doesn't seem good to me because I have neither a working scanner or a fax machine.

I have searched the forum, but don't seem to have turned up anything useful. Can somebody help me out?
