Yes, it seems that a mask like 'do*.*' on 'Highlights' dialog only applies to files with any extension that start with 'do' characters, but doesn't apply to folders that start with 'do'.
It could be a good idea to have a new column on 'Highlights' dialog called 'Apply also to folders?'.
