Just wanted to tell u that I've managed to find out how u can execute programs...
On my server (Serv-U) you can use the raw-command (ctrl-r) to execute files:
SITE EXEC [the filename to execute]

Hope this helps..;-)

NOTE: U need to have the rights on the server to be able to execute the programs..
