As far I know new FreeBSD 5.0 is marked as CURRENT and not as STABLE. Take a look @ this Web site, mainly sections 21.2.1.2 & 21.2.1.3.

Use FreeBSD 4.7 (marked as STABLE) and check if u have that problem with FlashFXP.
