My internet was recently upgraded to be part of the city's fiber. It gives me a guaranteed 10m down, 1m up connection.

I wanted to test out the speed by uploading a large file to my server. When I upload a file with FlashFXP 4.1 (1648), the uplaod speed starts out at 320 but quickly drops down to about 90k/s.

If I use another FTP program, like Cute, I see the speeds holding at about 980k/s.

I read a post about going to options/preferences/connection and setting the buffer size. I've set them to 'auto' and '128', closed FlashFXP, restarted, try again, but nothing changes on the upload speed.

Any ideas?
