I may b wrong but a little bird tells me 4.0 beta will make a dÃ©but sooner rather than later, I wont speculate on the details but I'm pretty sure it will happens this side of Xmas since e.g. anytime soon, the 4.0 final release will eventually have to come to a feature freeze and bug squishing so that a proper stable 4.0 can be released and work on 4.1 (or whatever the next version will be) can begin.
