i also noticed that sometimes ioftpd outputs something like this:

426 Connection closed: xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxxx.

yes x-es instead of message. i believe that it is a winsock error messge that ioftpd failed to output correctly on a non-english system (which is my case).
