This installer will not overwrite or delete any existing data files during installation. I can assure you that.
More than likely FlashFXP is looking at a different data folder than your previous installation.. You can verify your data folder location from within FlashFXP via the main menu > Help > About > Details Tab
If you're using windows Vista previous versions of FlashFXP ran in compatiblity mode, (the process was virtualized) which means files created by FlashFXP may be stored in the user-specific virtual store.
