I was able to connect to this server using flashfxp in the past, but the last few weeks I get the above error log. I have tried almost everything, from turning off my Norton Firewall, to re-entering my username and password, even created a whole new site and tried to connect - but all I get is a 530.

I read somewhere that the possible cause of this problem is the sequence flashfxp handles pert and pasv commands. But the posting offered no solution.

Are their special settings that need to be changed in Flashfxp to log in to a DrFTPD server.

I contacted the site administer and was told my account was reset and am allowed unlimited login attempts, but still can't get access.

Is the problem on my end or on the server's end?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
