If you're first time user try to use GUI.
GUI for managing ioFTPD server(s) (local and remote)
Manage users/groups, change ioFTPD settings, monitor connections, etc...

You can find them(2) in Scripts & Addons
-> Utility/Application (ioGUI or ioIsotope)
