The firewall portion of Norton 2005 seems to be at fault, I've seen several emails to support of exactly the same thing happening during FlashFXP transfer activity. It only seems to affect Norton Personal Firewall 2005 or software that includes it such as NIS 2005. The corporate and professional editions seem to work fine with FlashFXP.
I haven't heard of a way to fix the issue other than uninstalling the Norton Firewall, no setting change tried so far seems to help. If you find any other fix for this please share.
